In the spirit of all things jolly, Walkersons Hotel & Spa will be holding not one, but two festive events over the course of the festive season. Aside from enticing happy hour specials at the Terrace restaurant each Wednesday in December, the hotel will be hosting a merry year-end braai and a fabulous New Year’s Eve function.
Year-End Braai
Due to popular demand, Walkersons have moved their annual year-end braai closer to Christmas. This year, it will take place from 12h30 on Thursday 22 December in the beautiful Walker Room courtyard. As always, the food promises to be mouth-watering and in great supply, and all are welcome to join in this festive occasion.
The price of the Christmas braai is just R180 per adult and R80 per child under 12 years of age. Remember, bookings are essential to send your RSVP’s by 19 December 2016 to reservations@walkersons.co.za.
New Year’s Eve Bow or Boa Party
To round off yet another fabulous year in charming Dullstroom, Walkersons will be hosting an informal New Year’s Eve party on the terrace with the theme “feather boa or bow tie”. Don’t worry about dashing out to the shops to purchase a bow tie or boa though – both will be available for purchase on the night, proceeds of which will be donated to a local charity.
The cost for this exciting event is just R350 for adults and R175 for children under 12. This price gets you live music, great company, oodles of Christmas cheer and this delicious offering of food and drinks:
– A plated soup or starter and main.
– A buffet of desserts and cheeses.
– A late night buffet of cold meals and savoury snacks.
– Tea & coffee.
– A glass of bubbles at midnight to ring in the New Year.
